Yamaha Chris Buck Signature Revstar RS02CB | NAMM 2026

At the 2026 NAMM Show, Yamaha officially unveiled the brand new Chris Buck Signature Revstar, the RS02CB. I was fortunate enough to have been invited to the show once again this year, and even more fortunate since I was able to test this guitar firsthand at the show. I’m a big fan of the Revstar guitars, and while this guitar definitely felt familiar in my hands, the few tweaks Chris made make this particular version just different enough to stand out, both aesthetically and functionally.

The short version? This guitar was very impressive and helps to further cement the Revstars as some of my favorite modern production guitars, especially in their price bracket. With the custom voiced P90s, this guitar also offers something tonally different from anything else in my collection, and it’s a guitar I would definitely love to spend more time with in the future.
